In 1933 Antonio Frattini founds “the taps laboratory and turnery of various metals”.
Up to the war companies produce taps made of natural brass, which only work as water flow regulator in apartments, after the war companies started producing complete range for bathroom. In few years the company is able to entirely produce a tap, from brass ingot up to chromed-finished product. It takes part to Milan Exhibition in 1948 availing itself of an agent net, which covers all Italian territory.
Follow years of growth and important collaborations (such as those with the designer Antonia Campi,the company Sci Richard Ginori, etc.). It is the year 1975 and Eng. Giorgio Frattini succeeds his father as Manager and the company becomes an Ltd. After only 2 years the first Italian ceramic disk mixer leads Raf to new widening and technological updating, this make it one of the most advanced company in its field. During the 80ies the range Danubio becomes a best-seller thanks to its extraordinary ratio quality/price.
Raf is the Italian commercial leader.
Company production skills allow it to produce sophisticated taps, from technical and aesthetical point of view, requested from outsider.
In 2000 bathroom gain a role of absolute importance in homes becoming one of the most relevant field at Salone del Mobile of Milan.
Designed by Arch. Alessandro Veralli, Fizzy tap of 2007, represents the new company mission: styling is at the top of production hierarchy, commercial-poetic products are of very high quality and easy to produce.
